Bradley Powell

President and CEO

Brad is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and operations of Axiaware. He has over twenty years experience in technology, including sixteen years in software development and fourteen years in management.

Brad has a diverse background that includes business, technology and leadership in the financial services industry. He's a former Economic and Financial Analyst for Arthur Andersen LLP. His responsibilities included technology strategy for engagement teams, as well as serving as liaison to clients, and client vendors and customers. In this role, Brad was able to further hone his very effective collaborative client communications skills which today are a hallmark of Axiaware. Other responsibilities included documentation and training. 

After Arthur Andersen, he went on to co-found Tech Advantage. He served as President there from 1997 to 2004. Also serving as chief architect and technical leader, Brad took the lead in managing projects and interfacing with clients.

He split off from Tech Advantage in 2005 to start Axiaware because he believed he could make the most impact by focusing on software development. With Axiaware, Brad is leveraging his problem solving skills, keeping the focus on software development, and building the company around his principles of professionalism and dedication to delivery.

Brad grew up in a small industrial town outside of Houston, TX, and he still holds allegiance to his home state. Brad holds a BS in Foreign Service cum laude from Georgetown University (hoya saxa!). He and his wife Tonia live in Vienna, VA with their two sons, daughter and their Labrador Retriever. Brad is very active in his community and he sits on the alumni review panel for undergraduate admissions at Georgetown University.


Larry Morris

Vice-President, Operations

Larry Morris is Axiaware's Vice President of Operations. In this role Larry leads the firm's solution delivery, account management, strategic alliances and recruiting functions. Larry brings a strong collaborative project management focus and dedication to delivery to Axiaware.

Prior to joining Axiaware, Larry served in both technical and business leadership roles in the IT industry, with such companies as Freddie Mac, Computer Data Systems, and Xerox. At Freddie Mac, Larry was responsible for pioneering and leading the company's pursuit and delivery of technical solutions for their internal and external facing business processes. A motivating and trusted leader, Larry created a highly successful internal technical organization that provided development services to the business application organizations. Under his leadership, the organization established standards for development, application fit, change management, and staff management and technical recruiting.

Prior to his tenure at Freddie Mac, Larry was a Senior Systems Analyst for Computer Data Systems Incorporated, a successful government contractor. He was responsible for database development, application development and providing a Technical Marketing interface for the customer. At Xerox, Larry served in various management and technical leadership roles.

He is married, has three children, and currently lives in Boyds, MD.


Jon Torres

Senior Project Manager

Jon works closely with clients to ensure that every aspect of a project is kept on track. He takes a personal interest in a project's success, monitoring progress and guiding it through the many challenges inherent in an enterprise environment. He takes pride in delivering the product that best suits his clients' needs, on time and on budget.

With years of experience working as a software developer at Freddie Mac, Jon learned early in his career how to move projects to completion while navigating through a very large financial institution. He has learned the value of paying attention to detail while staying true to the driving vision of a project. Building strong relationships is also key to his approach.

Jon holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from Virginia Tech. A native of Northern Virginia, Jon enjoys the outdoors and is a certified CrossFit instructor.
